Set in 1979, a charismatic and eager Charlie Gordon has started his own hedge fund company with a reserved Eugene Fitzgerald as his associate. He has begun actively securing new clients with guaranteed high percentage returns, and absolutely no risk, over a six month period.
Those closest to him, such as an old friend, Mrs. Wallace, are more than happy to invest thousands (if not millions) into his endeavor, despite the grandeur of his promise.
As these two men attempt to run a textbook Ponzi Scheme, we may see their plot unravel the bindings of the relationships kept with their victims and even each other.
How far will they be willing to go to carry out their scheme?
